My name is Augusto Camacho,I was born in Madeira.

I lived and worked in Switzerland for 10 years, so I also

speak some German and also English.

To improve the situation of the needy animals on my home island,

I decided several years ago to give a lot of my time to these animals.

I am supported by my son Lukas and Elsbeth and Rolf from Switzerland. The organization  T.V.A.V (Tierschutz Vereins Animal Voice), also from Switzerland, supports my animal welfare work.

 

The aim of my animal welfare work is the following:

​

1. Castrations to prevent too large populations of cats and dogs.

2. Medical care of neglected, abandoned and injured cats and dogs.

3. Looking for a new place to live for unwanted and abandoned animals, such as cats and dogs.

4. Informing and advising animal owners on welfare.
